Foray & Special Events Programme 2011
for
Members of the North West Fungus Group

Note: the programme is provisional until printed copies have been sent to members in January.

Please note that forays are not suitable for very small children. Bring strong footwear, food and drink. If travelling a considerable distance to a foray it is advisable to confirm with the leader that the foray is taking place, as on extremely rare occasions forays have had to be changed at short notice. Telephone numbers of foray leaders are included on printed copies of our programme posted to members. DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

Beginners are welcome at all forays. Further details about terrain and accessibility of sites can be obtained by contacting the foray leader. Most venues have their own website.

Non-Members

We get a lot of enquiries from non-members about attending our forays. It is difficult to cater for non-members due to insurance requirements. Since membership only costs £7.50 for a year we encourage you to  join the Group  and have access to all our activities including a residential weekend of foraying in the Lake District. Please note that Members of the North West Fungus Group are interested in identifying and recording all fungi and also in the conservation of fungi and generally do not collect edibles.

In case there are any late changes or additions to the programme please check this page frequently.
